‘Cortes Apertas, dal vino alla pittura – Santu Andria’ is a food-and-wine, artistic and literary
itinerary among the Cortes, taking place on the 4
th Sunday of November.
It is a route focused on art and traditions of Atzara, including a visit to very old houses,
to laboratories of the ancient art of textile dying, to exhibitions of Sardinian weaving art (loom
weaving, in particular) and artistic ceramics, but also of local bread, among spaces hosting old
farming life tools. The Cortes are animated by the sounds of Sardinian popular tradition.
Celebrations in the honour of
Santu Andria are also a synonymous with Nouveau wine: indeed, the most characteristic
cellars of the village can be visited to taste the new wine.
